Underneath my exuberant belief that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, I doubted whether what I sought was attainable at all. I had moments where I wondered if I was doing something wrong.. I felt like perhaps I had not been deemed worthy of the eternal embrace.

I felt I had to do more to prove myself.

If you listen closely enough, I'm betting you'll find that what you thought was you falling off your path is actually life redirecting you, providing you valuable lessons you wouldn't have had otherwise.

I'm guessing that when you keep going, you'll look back and realize that the Universe was quietly preparing you to find your purpose & fulfill your mission

A Decade of Wisdom

What living with Lyme has taught me more than anything else is how to have deep gratitude for this human experience. It has taught me to enjoy the little moments, both the ones filled with light and the ones filled with pain, because no matter how shitty the moment may feel, it's just an experience and at some point, eventually, there will be something else to experience. It has taught me that the only constant in life is change, and that instead of pushing against what is happening, I can surrender and choose to learn from it instead.

In society today, masculinity and femininity are portrayed as "personality types" or "roles" rather than energies. Not only that, but masculinity and femininity are taught to be like oil and water-- you can pour them in the same bowl, but they'll never fuse together into one. They're seen as separate because they are so opposite.

When women are obsessed with being purely feminine, and men are obsessed with being purely masculine, they leave NO room for their full expression of both energies – therefore choking off an essential part of their emotional wholeness, forcing them to search for their “other half” in order to achieve some sense of wholeness within.

Sharona and I met at an event in Amsterdam in 2013, after both having volunteered for Tony Robbins' events in the past.  Sharona's magical energy was attractive from our first meeting. Whenever I see her beautiful smile and hear infectious laugh, I can't help but be in a more uplifted mood.

I've had the pleasure of watching Sharona transform dramatically in these last couple of years, more fully embracing who she really is and showing that to the world in an inspiring way.  Below you'll read a bit about Sharona's journey to embracing herself and letting her light shine brightly.  I hope her story inspires you as much as it has inspired me!

I first met Maria Johanna last year when we were both volunteering at a personal development seminar in London.  I was instantly taken by not only her physical beauty, but also the joyful energy she brought with her every time she walked into a room.  Maria, then going by the name Mariette, and I both lived in Amsterdam where we met up a few times after that first meeting, sharing our stories of personal and spiritual development and supporting each other on these deeply transformative journey's. 

Maria, author of the Dutch book, "Quarterlife Challenge," is a seeker of truth, looking to guide people back to the core of who they really are through her coaching practice.  Maria is following her heart on a divinely guided path that has led her to Bali to continue her spiritual transformation and is very excited to be The Holistic Explorer's very first Inspiration Sister!
