I recently spent a week in the beautiful country of Croatia. Five of those days were spent on a sail boat with my boyfriend, another couple from back home in the US, and our skipper, Nikola, who helped sail the boat and guided us to some of the country's most beautiful sites.
The Meaning of "Namaste"
I've decided to write my first blog post at the end, the end of every post from here on out: Namaste. Namaste (na-ma-stay) is derived from sanskrit and literally translates as, "I bow to you." It is used in many parts of India and Nepal, generally as a greeting from one person to another, as a sign of appreciation and gratitude.
